Potential Severe Thunderstorms Expected in Eastern Kansas

A few strong to marginally severe thunderstorms are possible late this morning through late this afternoon, mainly over eastern Kansas. While better severe weather chances will exist further east in Missouri, a few eastern Kansas storms will be capable of small hail, 50 to 60 mph winds, and perhaps a brief tornado.
