Phillips 66 Convenience Store Reports $2,000 Cash Theft After Employee Steps Outside
On November 9th, at approximately 10:45 PM, a theft was reported at a Phillip 66 gas station located at 2140 West Crawford. According to the male clerk on duty, he had stepped out to take out the trash for about 10 minutes. When he returned, he noticed that someone had gone through the cash register and an estimated $2,000 in cash was stolen.
The clerk stated that he did not see anyone in the store during the time he was outside. Police are investigating the incident as a possible burglary, as there was no confrontation between the clerk and the suspect.
