Pavement Repairs Underway at Schilling Road & Virginia Drive Intersection

Starting today, September 9, the City of Salina Public Works Department has begun pavement repairs at the intersection of Schilling Road and Virginia Drive. Crews are replacing cracked and heaved sections of the roadway on the west side of the intersection.

While the road will remain open, lane closures will slow traffic through the construction area. Motorists are encouraged to use caution while traveling through the active work zone.

Weather permitting, the repairs are expected to be completed within two to three weeks.
