Mill & Inlay Work Continues

On Monday through Friday, November 6th through 10th, APAC Shears of Salina will continue working on the City of Salina’s annual asphalt mill and inlay project. The schedule is as follows, weather permitting:

Enterprise: Monday, November 6
Manchester, Republic to McAdams: Tuesday, November 7-Friday, November 10

The work consists of milling the existing asphalt street surface 1.5” to 2” and replacing it with new asphalt to rehabilitate and preserve the pavement section. Permanent pavement markings will be placed shortly after the resurfacing.

The $1,016,000 project is a major component of the City of Salina's $4.7M 2023 maintenance capital improvement program.
