Medic Call Leads to Drug Arrest

On Saturday, February 24th, at 8:30 AM, officers were dispatched to 1944 N 9th for a possible unresponsive male. The individual was subsequently transported to SRHC for medical attention. During the process of attempting to identify the individual, officers discovered a bag containing what appeared to be methamphetamine, another bag containing an unidentified substance, and aluminum foil with burnt residue. As a result, the subject was taken into custody.

While officers were in the process of handcuffing the male suspect, a scuffle ensued, leading to the suspect allegedly fleeing from the hospital while wearing a single handcuff. After a search, officers apprehended the individual in the 600 block of S 10th. He was later identified as 24-year-old Dylan Woodcox.

Woodcox faces multiple charges including possession of a narcotic, interference with a law enforcement officer, robbery, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal damage to property.
