Local Educator & School Staff Member Honored with You Make A Difference Awards

Recently, the You Make A Difference awards were presented to two exceptional individuals, Ivanna Morton and Randy Maag, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to their respective roles in the school community.

A 4th grade teacher at Heusner, Ivanna’s caring personality uplifts her students and colleagues. She is always ready to help when a need arises and always has a smile and funny stories to share.

Randy Maag, the facility manager at Meadowlark School, Randy goes above and beyond in his work to make school a special place. He recently administered the Heimlich Maneuver when a child choked during lunch. His quick thinking and actions prevented disaster.
