K9 Officer Rodi assisted in the arrest of a subject on multiple warrants Thursday night.

Captain Forrester says that on Thursday, May 25, at 10:30 pm an officer observed a Ford 150 Pickup traveling southbound in the 1600 block of N 9th, allegedly traveling at speeds over the posted limit. The vehicle turned westbound on Inez, when the officer initiated a traffic stop. While in the process of the traffic stop, the driver allegedly stopped abruptly and fled on foot.

K9 Officer Rodi tracked Mr Jones a couple of blocks north, and located him hiding underneath a camper. Mr Jones was arrested on the following requested charges, as well as his warrants:

  • Felony obstruction

  • Driving while suspended
  • No seatbelt
