Join the Parade of Lights & Help Out the Food Bank

In the spirit of spreading holiday cheer and lending a hand to those in need, Salina Downtown invites kids aged 5-10 to partake in an extraordinary opportunity. Santa Claus himself is extending a special invitation to ride alongside him in the Downtown Salina Parade of Lights on Saturday, November 18.

Bring at least 4 items from the Kid Approved List to help the Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank, and your child's name will be entered into Santa's Hat. Santa himself will draw a child's name out of the Hat, and that child will get the magical journey of riding beside Santa in the Parade of Lights.

Kid Approved List:

  • Peanut butter & jelly
  • Cereal
  • Applesauce
  • Juice boxes
  • Cereal or fruit bars
  • Spaghetti Os
  • Ramen noodles

Please drop off your kid-approved contributions at the Salina Downtown Inc Office, located at 134 S Santa Fe #120, no later than Wednesday, November 15.
