Gypsum Woman Injured after Vehicle Rolls in Southern Saline County

The Kansas Highway Patrol worked an injury accident on Monday, May 15 in southern Saline County.

The KHP report indicates that the accident occurred 12:34 pm, on K4 at milepost 198 East bound, or 2 miles North of Assaria, KS. A 1999 Dodge Durango, driven by a 60-year-old Gypsum, KS woman, was Eastbound on K4 when it left the road and drove into the South ditch. The driver overcorrected to the left, which caused the vehicle to overturn. The Dodge then rolled onto K4, coming to a rest in the North ditch on it's tires.

The driver was transported to SRHC by EMS with suspected serious injuries.
