The Salina Family YMCA’s Grab N’ Go food program continues to grow—and we’re excited to share some major milestones!
Thanks to generous support from Schwan’s, the Salina Area United Way, AMBUCS, the Salina Liberty professional football team, and an incredible network of community volunteers, the program is stronger than ever. Local students are also making a difference by earning service hours and giving back in meaningful ways.
Just last week, we reached a new record: 625 children served in five days—providing 6,250 meals to kids who need them most.
And this is only the beginning.

While we celebrate this growth, the need remains high—especially during our second shift from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. We’re actively seeking more volunteers to help keep this momentum going and ensure every child is served.

Thank you to everyone who supports Grab N’ Go. Together, we’re making a real difference—one meal at a time.
