Evergy reported to the Saline County Sheriff's Department that it appeared they were missing some ground wire at a sub station the company is working on.
Sometime between Monday, December 13, 2021 and January 3, 2022, at 3363 S 9th, Evergy reports that a CONEX box with tools and other items inside. It appeared that someone had destroyed the latch on the box, causing $350 damage. Inside this box was ground wire, which had several lengths cut from it and allegedly stolen, amounting to $150.
Total loss in this case is $500.
