Early Morning Fire Engulfs Combine on E. Hedburg Rd

At 6:19 am on Wednesday, June 21, Fire District #2 were alerted to a fire in the 1900 block of E. Hedburg. The incident involved a 1988 John Deere combine that had been parked overnight. No grain was present inside the machinery at the time of the incident. The owner of the combine is a 48-year-old male from Assaria. Preliminary estimates suggest the damage amount to be $15,000.
