Ducks Unlimited Chapter Returns to Salina with Spring Banquet

Ducks Unlimited Chapter Returns to Salina with Spring Banquet

The Salina chapter of Ducks Unlimited (DU) has been reestablished after a two-year hiatus, with local volunteers organizing a spring banquet scheduled for March 29th at the Salina Expo Center.

The chapter, which previously hosted one of Kansas' premier DU banquets, was revived last fall by a group of local sportsmen. The organization focuses on wetland habitat conservation, restoration, and management for waterfowl preservation.

The upcoming banquet will feature dinner catered by Howard Wagyu, followed by a live auction conducted by Terry Zimmer and Kurt Marshall. The auction will include four firearms from manufacturers including Beretta, Marlin, and Colt.

Event capacity is limited to 225 attendees, with 15 sponsor tables available. Early bird ticket pricing ends March 15th. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

The event organizers have established a website at www.ksdu.org for additional information. Questions can be directed to Jesse at 785-819-6935.

Ducks Unlimited, a conservation organization, has maintained a significant presence in North Central Kansas and the Smoky Hill River Valley region throughout its history, with Saline County serving as a key location for past events.
