Culligan Employee Arrested After Box Truck Mishap on Interstate

A Culligan employee's Friday afternoon commute turned chaotic when a box truck veered off Interstate 135, dragging a barbed wire fence. Witnesses' reports led to the arrest of 35-year-old Thomas Norton, a Salina resident.

Saline County Sheriff's Office reported that Norton, who allegedly fell asleep at the wheel, was arrested on various charges including possession of marijuana and leaving the scene of an accident. The damaged fence belonged to the Kansas Department of Transportation.
