Central National Bank Files Lawsuit Against Wellness Financial Planning

Central National Bank (CNB) has filed a lawsuit against Defendants Stuart Wells and Wellness Financial Planning, Inc. (WFP) in Kansas, alleging defamation and seeking damages.

CNB employed Wells as a trust officer until his termination in May 2023 due to serious misconduct. Since then, CNB alleges that Wells, both individually and through WFP, has made false and disparaging statements about CNB to third parties, damaging its reputation and causing economic harm.

CNB seeks damages exceeding $75,000, along with injunctions against further false statements and legal expenses. The lawsuit is ongoing in Kansas, and CNB is represented by Spencer Fane LLP.
