A $250 cash reward is being offered for the safe return of a dog taken from the front steps of a Salina home over the weekend.
Security footage captures a woman delivering a food order to the family’s doorstep before picking up the dog. Moments later, a second woman and a child approach her. The video cuts off after 15 seconds, leaving the family unsure of what happened next.
The Salina Animal Shelter has been notified, and a report has been filed with the Salina Police Department. The family has also contacted DoorDash, which is cooperating with law enforcement in the ongoing investigation.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the dog is encouraged to contact Sandra Montoya via Facebook or the Salina Police Department non-emergency phone number at 785-826-7210. No questions will be asked, and the police report will be dropped upon her return. Anonymous returns are welcome—the family just wants Luna home.
