The Boom! Salina Street Art & Mural Festival is back for its third year, set to transform downtown Salina from September 30th to October 5th with vibrant new murals. This year’s festival will feature five renowned muralists from around the world, each bringing their unique artistic style to five different locations throughout the city.
Organized by Eric Montoy and curated by Joe Iurato, the festival will also see the return of legendary photographer Martha Cooper, who will document the event for the third consecutive year.
Key Events:
- September 30th - October 5th: Mural painting at various downtown locations (to be announced via social media).
- October 4th: First Friday at the Salina Art Center, featuring a BOOM! Salina Artist Panel Discussion and a Photography Show by Martha Cooper and Tanner Colvin.
- October 5th: Kid’s Creative Corners with visual artist David Zinn from 12 PM - 1:30 PM.
