UPDATE: Motorcycle Rider Suffers Head Injury After Weekend Accident

UPDATE: An injury occident occurred on Friday, August 18, at 8:08 pm, at Schilling and I-135. A black 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by a 27-year-old from Lehigh, Kansas was eastbound on Schilling. He reprtedly rear-ended a black 2008 Chevy Silverado driven by a 19-year-old Salina woman. The motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet and was ejected. He was tranported to SRHC with serious head injuries. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.

ORIGINAL: At 8:10 pm on Friday, August 18, first responders were sent to Schilling Rd under the I-135 overpass, for a 2-vehicle accident. Reports indicate that injuries are unknown at this point. Salina311 will have more information as it becomes available.
